Speaker 1:

In today's episode, I am so excited to be joined with Christine Rene for this replay of the Inner Child Healing Workshop, moving from Wounded to Witnessed, that we hosted for our Moon Rising community last night. This workshop was a fantastic introduction to inner child healing and a way of looking at inner child healing that I don't see talked about very often. So in this episode you're going to hear us talk about what is the inner child, especially the difference between the wounded inner child and the healed inner child. We'll talk about the subconscious mind connection and how the limiting beliefs that you take on as a child often become the voice of your inner critic. We'll talk about the signs of inner child wounding, the different inner child ages and what happens if you have more than one, as well as connecting with your inner teen and, towards the end of today's episode, we'll be guiding you through a healing inner child experience to connect with your healed inner child and share a joyful, creative, exciting, wonderful moment with them to begin this healing work Along the way. We also talk about the three things that your inner child is always looking for that, if you can provide them to your adult self, will immensely help in your healing journey, as well as some other amazing tidbits about how you can start to embrace inner child healing through self-love, self-acceptance and releasing perfectionism.

Speaker 1:

This is a fantastic episode but, like I said, it is a replay from the webinar that we did last night. So if you want to see the slideshow that we had for this webinar, hop on over to our YouTube channel, where you can watch both the full slideshow, the one hour long slideshow, in one video or over the coming weeks we'll be splitting the video up into segments so you can focus on what calls to you most, to learn about your inner child. Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're there and, of course, subscribe to the podcast so that you can get access to new episodes sooner. We would also love to see you over in our Moon Rising Shamanic Mystics Facebook group, a free community of almost 4,500 amazing, incredible individuals who are doing this work right alongside you, sharing inspiration and creating a bubble of sacred joy and connection and curiosity in what can sometimes be a world of chaos. So we hope to see you over there in our Facebook group and, of course, don't forget to follow us on Instagram as well.

Speaker 1:

And finally, any references that you hear today to giveaways or links in the chat, know that, because this was a live webinar, we're talking directly to our Zoom audience, but any links that we mention will be left in the show notes below. And if you're interested in joining us for the very special giveaway that we mentioned, know that we have one more opportunity to come together as a community and be entered into this giveaway. So on Tuesday, september 16th, at 5 pm Mountain Time, 7 pm Eastern Time, chantel Ochoa and myself will be taking the community on a guided shamanic journey through the lower four chakras for deep healing and restoration. So if you're interested in joining us, live for that and if you're on, live getting access to be entered into the giveaway the link to register for that and to receive the recording is in the show notes. And, of course, don't forget that Soul Rising, our four-month shamanic Reiki course, starts on Monday and we are so excited to dive in to shamanism.

Speaker 1:

Inner child healing, subconscious reprogramming, reiki healing, energetic balancing, chakra balancing and healing, personal development, spiritual growth, connecting with your intuition all those things and more in this incredible program that starts on Monday. You'll hear us share a little bit more about it at the end of today's episode, but know that if you're interested in learning more and saving your seat because we only have a few spots left before classes start the link to do so will be in the show notes. With all of that said, I hope you enjoy today's episode. I hope it gives you a new and inspiring take on inner child healing, knowing that it doesn't have to be hard or messy or dark. We can engage with our inner child in a way that facilitates joy and magic and creativity All of the things that so many of us are craving now that we're adults. With all of that said, I hope you enjoy today's episode. Let's go to the show.

Speaker 2:

I just love this topic. It makes me happy. It makes me happy and I feel like there's so much healing that can happen in this space. So really setting that intention that there is some really lovely aha moments, some beautiful takeaways and really some connection with your own inner child during tonight's experience, that's my real hope and wish and intention for our space together tonight.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely so.

Speaker 1:

I would love to, just as Christine's getting our slideshow together, doing her tech magic, I would love to guide us in just a few deep breaths, centering in setting our intention for the space. So just taking a minute, closing your eyes, maybe, bringing your hands to gassho, to prayer, or even resting them on your heart, whatever feels best here. Just take a moment to fully arrive in the present, calling back your energy from wherever it is, if it's still at work, if it's still on your to-do list, if it's still with your kids. Just calling back all of your energy into this present moment, knowing that you have the next hour to really be present with yourself to do some healing, to have some joy and magic mixed in. Let's just take three deep breaths in that energy here, being aware of our body and the present as we inhale, letting go of any hesitation, anxiety, static energy as we exhale Again. Deep breath in, deep breath out. One more really deep breath, filling all of your lungs, exhaling, let it out. Just continuing to breathe deep here, tuning in with yourself as we call in our directions.

Speaker 1:

This is something that we do at the start of every call here at Moon Rising to create our sacred circle, our sacred space. So we call to our circle the spirits of the east, the wind with its whispers of wisdom. May you bring us the energy of hope and inspiration in today's call. We thank you, we love you, we honor you. Welcome to our circle. And we call to our circle the spirits of the south, the fire, with its passion and purpose. May you burn away all that no longer serves us and allow us to rise like a phoenix from the ashes, fully embodying our true power. We thank you, we love you, we honor you. Welcome to our circle. And to the spirits of the West, the water. We thank you for washing away and soothing all that the fire burned clear, for reminding us how to trust and surrender to the flow of life. We thank you, we love you, we honor you. Welcome to our circle. We call to our circle the spirits of the north, the earth, provider and sustainer of all physical life, nourisher of all beings. May we each be nourished and supported by this experience tonight receiving all that we need to for our greatest and highest good. Spirits of the North, we thank you, we love you, we honor you. Welcome to our circle and to the spirits from above, our spirit guides, guardian angels, loving ancestors, friends of the upper world. Thank you for keeping us true to our soul's optimistic intentions for this experience. We thank you for your presence here. We thank optimistic intentions for this experience. We thank you for your presence here. We thank you, we love you, we honor you. Welcome to our circle.

Speaker 1:

We call to our circle the spirits from below, our power, animals, mythical creatures, nature spirits, friends who teach us what it means to have one foot in the physical, one foot in the spiritual, dancing between the realms.

Speaker 1:

We thank you for your presence here.

Speaker 1:

We thank you, we love you, we honor you. Welcome to our circle.

Speaker 1:

And we call to our circle the energy of our highest self and the energy of our most healed inner child, the ones who remind us of our truth, of our power, of who we are. When we heal our wounds, release our limitations. May we all, when we heal our wounds, release our limitations. May we all dance around the fire tonight in this experience, together, healing, alchemizing, rising into our truest, most aligned form. We thank you for your presence here. We thank you, we love you, we honor you.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to our circle. And with the energy and intention of all seven directions now in place this circle, this space. This time is blessed as sacred, knowing that each and every one of us will receive and experience exactly what we are meant to in this time and in this space. And I invite you to just take a moment here to set your intention for this evening, whether that's a question you would love to have answered, an energy you want to embody, an experience you want to have, just taking a moment to bring that intention to mind and heart, feeling it settle in, sink in, imprint onto your energy, and we'll seal all of this in with another big, deep breath here, breathing in and exhale, letting it go, taking any other movements or moments that you need to open up your eyes. Come all the way back into the Zoom room whenever you're ready and we'll get started. Like I said, feel free to continue using the chat to take notes, to share questions and aha moments. We love it all and we are so excited to get started tonight.

Speaker 2:

So, as always, please let me know if you can see and hear us, okay, now that the presentation is up. All right, beautiful, so welcome. Welcome everyone officially to our inner child workshop. I am Christine Renee. I am the visionary here at Moon Rising Shamanic Institute. I have a lifetime experience with Reiki and love, love, love how it has invited me into the shamanic space. I love to follow the lead of inspiration to design, to create, co-create with our team here at Moon Rising Institute and really to help others shine their light, and such to the fullest capacity that they have access to. And that is that is my always my dream, always my hope, always my love. And so I welcome, welcome, welcome you tonight for our call. And tonight we also have Isabel Weld, our alchemist, on the call. I'll let Isabel share a little bit about her role here.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely so.

Speaker 1:

Like it says, I am the alchemist and really my passion and purpose in this lifetime is helping people break free from the things that are weighing them down, learning how to alchemize their energy, how to take their wounds, their pain, their past traumas, their limiting beliefs all of it and alchemize it into sources of power and presence and confidence.

Speaker 1:

I'm also really passionate about helping you connect with your intuition, helping you connect with your own inner power so that you know how to find the healing and the wisdom that you have access to within you. And, of course, many of you know me as the one who bridges science and spirituality. So I've got a background in psychology and nursing and I love me some quantum physics and some neuroscience and semantics and all of the things, and I really love finding the places where these modern ideas that we have that can reach us on the mental level can blend with these ancient knowings that we have that reach us on the soul level to really give us a completely holistic approach to our spirituality, to our lives, so we can connect a little bit more to the sacred and live life to the fullest. So I'm hoping we get a little taste of that in tonight's Inner Child webinar.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. So. Here's what we're going to be covering tonight. We have a lot to cover, so we're going to jump right in.

Speaker 2:

What is the inner child? The wounded inner child, the subconscious mind, signs of inner child wounding, the inner child ages and inner teen one of my favorite topics the healed inner child and we're going to have a healing experience and then we're got a scholarship giveaway for the end. So be sure to be on and make sure that we've got your name so that you're you're, you're entered in the drawing. That's the word I'm looking for. Okay, beautiful.

Speaker 2:

So who is the inner child? Our inner child is the energetic embodiment of all of our childhood experiences, memories and emotions. So think of yourself in childhood and can you remember the range of emotions that we experienced and how vibrant life felt? And when I say that, I really want to hone in on that huge spectrum, oftentimes in our adult minds we tend to hone in on bad memories. In our adult minds we tend to hone in on bad memories, and yet that fullness of life was really available to us as a child. And so when we often think about our wounded inner child. But we also have this healed inner child too. So there is a huge spectrum, and so I just want to set that foundation right out from the beginning that there's a multitude of different kinds of inner child that we have access to.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely, and knowing that when we're doing this inner child work, it can be an invitation to invite that magic back, to invite the vibrance of life back, to invite that spectrum of emotions that we're trained kind of not to have as adults. Right, that can be a goal of inner child healing too. Yeah, so with our wounded inner child, this is probably the inner child that we think of most. When we say inner child healing, the first thing that pretty much everybody thinks of is that version of you that was wounded, that was hurt, right. And our wounded inner child is the part of our inner child that felt pain or had an experience that made them feel less than so.

Speaker 1:

We're talking about the entire range of traumatic experiences, whether it was a big T trauma or a little T trauma. It's any experience that led to beliefs or feelings of I'm unlovable, I'm not worthy, I'm inherently flawed, I'll be abandoned if XYZ happens, or I will break my family's unspoken rules, or I'll be a bad person if I do XYZ, y, z, or, you know, if I'm successful, if I do something good, I'll make others feel bad, or I'll outshine others if I excel at. So I need to dim my light, right. It's any time that our little self interpreted what was happening in the world around us as there's something wrong with you, the way that you inherently show up, the way that you inherently are. It either isn't enough or it's too much. And when our inner child had those experiences and had those emotions, we take it in and it becomes part of our subconscious framework, which we'll talk a little bit more about later.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I really want to hone in on this idea that it can be something small that makes a really big impact. So like, for example, you might have a memory of your mother rushing out the door and being hurry, hurry, hurry. We got to go and you're stalling. You're like trying to play on your bike and you fall off and you scab your knee and you're now you're crying because you're you're bleeding and your mother is just exasperated, right, and that moment you are made to feel unworthy, that you're inherently flawed, that she ain't got time for you, Right, and all of those feed into these what become limiting beliefs, Right, and so it's all of those things that stack up, Right. So it doesn't necessarily mean that you had an abusive childhood. We all have stuff. So this is where the little T and the big T really play their parts. Have stuff. So this is where the little T and the big T really play their parts. So the subconscious mind connection we really need to understand that the subconscious mind is forming between birth and age eight.

Speaker 2:

There's not a filter. We don't have a conscious filter yet. So anything that is happening, so our mom runs and says I can't believe you, we have to leave right now. Right Like if she is putting that energy out where you're now feeling I'm I messed up, I'm a horrible person, Like all these things. You just absorb it. There is no conscious filter going wow, mom's really stressed out right now she really needs to take a chill pill. There is no conscious filter going wow, mom's really stressed out right now, she really needs to take a chill pill. Like there's no conscious thought about what's happening and that is the framework of how we're seeing the world.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

Speaker 1:

And so when we're looking at our subconscious mind, this is the moment where everything that's happening around you is getting interpreted as a fact about you, like Christine saying there's no conscious filter, there's no ability to say this is about me and this is about them, everything is about you. And so when we're having every single experience from age zero to around eight or 10, that becomes our framework, for this is how the world works and this is my place in it. This is how I need to act, this is how I need to show up, this is what I need to do and not do in order to be successful, in order to be safe, right. And so when we're in that really prime age for our subconscious to develop, difficult experiences start to challenge our sense of self and they cause us to install those new limiting beliefs to keep us safe, right. This is why we say that our subconscious mind is just here to keep us safe, because it's holding on to the beliefs that would have helped us at the time, right? So let's say, even with this situation, where you know your mom's rushing you out the door and you fall and you scab your knee and she's going hurry, hurry, hurry we don't have time for this. Your brain is going to retroactively look back at that experience and say, man, if I had just gone a little faster, if I had just spoken up, if I had just not cried or made a big deal about my knee, then maybe mom would have been happier. And so now you have this internalized belief that if I had just gone faster, if I had just done better, things wouldn't have turned out the way that they did. And so now that's going to carry forward into your adult life because, according to your subconscious, this is how the world works. You're always going to need to do better, you're always going to need to go faster, you're always going to need to show up in XYZ way because it would have kept you safe, it would have gotten you more love in the past.

Speaker 1:

Right, and so these are the stories that often become our inner critic in adulthood and are at the root of our triggers, when we feel that emotion rising up, when we feel ourselves feeling activated, or when we just know that we're not doing enough. We don't know why, but we know we're not doing enough. That's at the root of that is that belief that your inner child took on. It's that wounded inner child energy that's resonating forward into your present adult life. And this is one of my favorite questions when we're starting inner child work is when you're in that activated state, when you find yourself saying, oh my gosh, I'm such an idiot or I should have done better, or I didn't do enough, or I'm never going to get what I want.

Speaker 1:

Whatever that story is that's playing through your head, can you tune in and ask yourself whose voice is that right? Because your subconscious remembers the first person who taught you to believe that. And when you can take time to ask your subconscious, ask your inner child. Whose voice are you hearing right now? Who first told you that? That's the first step to freeing yourself is realizing that belief was given to me, that story was given to me. I don't have to hold onto it. I don't have to choose to believe that anymore. I can reframe and rewrite the scripts that I'm living my life by.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. I can't stress that enough and know that those positive, empowering experience can create an empowered belief and lead to the strong energy flow. So they're in balance. We have these difficult experiences and then we have positive experiences and they both co-create the scripts in our mind and how we view the world right. And so then we can start noticing what is the signs of the inner child wounded. Okay, so some of the signs that might come about of when they're being activated and really are calling out for healing includes when we're constantly disassociating, we have blacked out memories, we have self-sabotaging cycles, we have these intense emotions out of the blue sabotaging cycles. We have these intense emotions out of the blue feeling unsafe, unworthy or inherently flawed, addictive or risk seeking behaviors, anxiety, shame, low self-esteem and trust issues and perfectionism. So those are like that's your quick short list, Like if you are going, yeah, I've been there, Yep, Done that, Uh-huh, those things are going. Your inner child's like yo, look at me, please pay attention, I have healing to do.

Speaker 1:

And knowing that those, those wounds are. I don't want to say that they last your whole life, because they don't. It's absolutely possible to heal your inner child wounds, but knowing that working with your inner child is a lifelong journey, because at the root of every difficult emotion, every limiting belief, there is a younger you who learned how to believe that, whether that younger you was you five years ago, 10 years ago, or it truly is your inner child, right? And so the ability to tune in to some of the techniques that we're going to share with you tonight are going to serve you your entire life, because we're constantly going to be reevaluating the experiences and stories that we got from the experiences and stories that we got from the past and if we want them to continue in the present right.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, we do have more than one. You would have multiple, and they're often like reflective of what was going on during that age, so it's not uncommon. You might have some inner child that's three-year-old, seven-year-old and 13-year-old, right, and so we can tune into these different ages. And it's always like, in my perspective, I always want to start at the youngest age and then work my way towards adulthood. So when we engage with the inner child, healing allow whichever aspect shows up is the exact right one that needs to right. But don't be surprised if it's the youngest, because she holds the most scripting because of when her subconscious or his subconscious was still under development.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely. And so knowing that this is kind of like a zipper, right, this is why we do chakra work the way we do as well, of starting at the root and working our way up, because that's going to have a ripple effect into all of the other inner children that you're experiencing, but also into your adult life, right? And so this is where we can also know, too, that there's a difference between your inner child and your inner teen. Right, your inner child is there and they want to be nurtured, they want to be seen, they want to be supported. Think about, you know a little baby, how what they want is to have their needs met, to be loved, to feel safe.

Speaker 1:

Right, and our inner child is constantly looking for those three things to have our needs met, to feel safe and to be loved. Right, and so oftentimes, when our inner child is triggered, it's because she didn't get, or they didn't get, or he didn't get one of those three things. Right, and so that's another really helpful tool for you to take away from. This is when you're feeling activated, when you're noticing your inner child showing up in your life, asking yourself which of the three is missing, which of the three did they not receive? And how can I give that to myself in the moment, which is very different from your inner teen, which is Christine's wheelhouse?

Speaker 2:

I love the inner teen and I think part of it is it's just been showing up more and more.

Speaker 2:

So if you watched our shadow work presentation I did with Chantel just a few days ago, I really spoke to this inner teen and my inner teen getting really triggered recently because my daughter just entered middle school.

Speaker 2:

So here she is, 12 years old, and I was severely bullied when I was 12. And then and so I'm recognizing this I'm recognizing all the trauma that she went to and how she hates looking in a mirror and I feel like I woke up today and I'm in my like I don't know 17 year old self and I was like I want to straighten my hair and I want to put up makeup on, and I'm like I don't remember the last time I've straightened my hair, but this is how my hair looked in high school. It hasn't looked this way since high school, right? And so it's like recognizing and bearing witness to and what do they want and how do they want to show up, because it can be an integrative experience to allow yourself to be like what do they need right now, what do they want, what are they desiring, and how can I give that to them in a safe way, right? So we're going to be reparenting our inner child, or inner teen.

Speaker 1:

And knowing that that piece is so key to any kind of healing, because the very first step to doing this kind of work is giving yourself permission to actually do the work. Because sometimes that's going to look like crying when you're feeling upset. Sometimes that's going to look like getting out crayons and coloring for a while. Sometimes that's going to look like straightening your hair even though you haven't done that for you know, decades right. Like this is what inner child healing looks like, and so many of the things that will heal our inner child are the things that we have been trained not to do, to be acceptable, effective, successful adults, right, we're not supposed to have strong emotions, we're not supposed to be messy, we're supposed to stay in line, we're supposed to do things right. And so, knowing that part of inner child healing is breaking out of those stories, it's breaking the generational trauma, it's breaking the societal expectations, it's doing the work, and that means that it's not always going to be easy, but it is always going to feel freeing, because that's ultimately what your inner child wants. They want to feel safe, to be themselves, right. And so the best way to start healing your inner child is being kind to yourself in the present and practicing that self-love, practicing that self-permission and that radical self-acceptance of. If I feel like I need to cry right now, I'm going to cry. If I need to talk something through for an hour, I'm going to talk it through. If I need to go color, if I need to make a mess, if I'm going to you know, intentionally not do something on my to-do list because I don't want to feel like I'm giving my power away to someone else do it. Can you give yourself the space to show your adult self that love, that safety and that nourishment that your inner child was looking for, right? So now what we're going to do is we're going to look at connecting with our healed inner child as another empowering healing technique, because this is again where so many people fall short in inner child healing is we get so focused on the version of us that has the wounds, the version of us that has the pain, the version of us that has the trauma. But what's happening in our subconscious, what's happening in our energy field, what's happening in our neural networks is, the more we focus on that version it's like watering a weed, if you will right. The more energy you give to it, the more it's going to grow. And that doesn't mean that we never want to look at our wounded inner child, but what it does mean is we want to alchemize them by helping them to meet our healed inner child Because, like we talked about before your healed inner child, we can probably go to the next slide on this one.

Speaker 1:

Your healed inner child is that one who has all of the positive experience, who experienced the joy and the livelihood and the creativity and the freedom right. No matter what happened in your childhood, we all have at least a few memories of this right, which means that we all have the energy of our healed inner child in us somewhere. And this is the most powerful aspect of inner child work is, yeah, we can be aware of our inner critic. Yeah, we can be aware of which of those three areas our inner child is calling out for support in in the moment. Yeah, we can be aware of which version of our inner child is showing up and give them permission to express and feel and release, and all of it the way that they want to. And once we've done that, we have to take that final step. We have to close the gap by inviting them to merge their energy with our healed inner child right.

Speaker 1:

And so here's where we can think about what's your happiest childhood memory the memory that when someone says, oh my gosh, what was your favorite moment in your childhood, what comes to mind? You know right off the bat For me what comes to mind almost instantly, and it's okay if your answer to this changes tomorrow, right, but what comes to mind for me tonight is I remember I was probably six and we had a hot air balloon land in our backyard and it was like the most magical moment of my entire childhood and I just felt so alive and so vibrant and so fulfilled in that moment because it was just so magical, right. And I can feel that energy. I can feel that alignment and that joy and recognize how much healing that energy is going to have for the wounded version of my inner child Right. And so, as Christine will share here, it can also open us up to understanding a little bit about our passion and purpose as adults when we connect with our healed inner child as well.

Speaker 2:

And this is where I, like, I light up, because when we can start going, where are those emotional aspects of those favorite memories? Right? And so, even if you're, like I, cannot remember my childhood was horrible. When was the time that you were connected with nature? When was the time that you connected to yourself? When did you have an imaginary friend? It doesn't matter. Whatever those joyful memories are, we want to hone in on them and focus because, like, for example, one of my favorite inner child memories is teaching a cat to look both ways when crossing the street, right Like I was probably six or seven, my girlfriend and I were walking this cat and made it sit and look both ways and all of the things granted.

Speaker 2:

The cat lived to be 18, never got hit by a car this is in a major city and died of old age. But in that moment, what was the emotions that I was feeling? I wasn't being watched, there was no adults around, and so I felt incredibly independent. I felt like I was a teacher Notice that I'm teaching a cat out across the street. I felt like I was a teacher, notice that I'm teaching a cat out across the street. Like I felt very empowered because I was doing this purposeful thing right. And so now, as an adult, I can look back and go like, wow, look at, those were the seeds that drove my purpose. And I love being independent. I love making decisions. I like being in control All of those feed me right, making decisions. I like being in control, like all of those feed me Right and so we can.

Speaker 1:

We can start to notice in those happy joyful memories, what seeded us in our passion and purpose, and so, as you're looking at this, thinking through, you know what is some of those happiest memories, and this can be an ongoing prompt, right. This can be something that a week from now, you look back and you're like, oh my gosh, you know what else I used to love that I completely forgot about, right? One of the most powerful ways to practice inner child healing is by engaging with your healed inner child, by reminding yourself of the energy of fun and play, by reminding yourself what it was like to feel free, to feel safe, to feel empowered, to feel independent, to feel creative, to feel whatever it was, and notice how often what comes to mind, what comes up, the things that light you up in those memories are often the things that you feel like you're missing out on a little bit as an adult, right, and so you can start thinking about what comes up in those memories. You know, we had a student once who her inner child used to play with an Easy-Bake oven and we did some inner child healing with her and she went out and found one at a thrift shop and spent the rest of the afternoon playing with her Easy-Bake oven, and that was how she started her inner child healing. It doesn't have to be hard. It doesn't have to be this we're going to pull up the past traumas and the past wounds and we're going to reroute all of these things. Right, it can be.

Speaker 1:

What did you love to do as a child? Painting, dancing, biking, building a fort? This is mine. My husband refers to the forts that I make as pillow pits, and if I'm feeling upset, he will come to me and be like do you need to build a fort right now? Right, like those kinds of things. Building a fort? Reading enjoying a sweet treat? What would light you up before building a fort? Reading enjoying a sweet treat? What would light you up before and can you allow it to light you up?

Speaker 2:

now Right, yeah, absolutely, I think for me. I also remember having, when I had young children, my inner child work oftentimes was embodying their age and playing with them. So when my son was four, I would pretend to be a four-year-old friend and be like that's my red marker, you can't have that one. And I just totally went with it and my son would look like I was crazy. He would look at me like what are you doing? You're not my mother, You're, you're being goofy. And I'm like yep, I'm being goofy and just fully playing in that role as a child in a safe way, in a safe environment. Right, Can do so much beautiful healing work. So we definitely want to invite you to figure out what those activities are that you loved and do them.

Speaker 1:

And I want to add to that really quick, just before we jump into our experience. Part of it, too, is understanding that it's okay if at the start you feel silly. It's okay if at the start you feel silly. It's okay if at the start you feel like, oh my gosh, why am I doing this? It's not helping right. One of the things that I've been learning in my life this week because spirit often prepares us as teachers to teach the topics by giving us a little lesson in our own lives. So I've been deep in some inner child healing myself this week and one of the things that I have noticed again and again come up as I'm doing the healing work is that first step is always the hardest. It's always the one where your inner critic gets louder. It's the one where everything feels messier. It's the one where you feel like this isn't going to work anyway. And then, as soon as you do it and you can look around and go I made a mess and nobody's yelling, or I said something silly and the world didn't fall apart, or, you know, I went and was creative and maybe it's not the world's best thing, but like I like it. I'm actually proud of something that I did today, like those moments where you can realize those outdated stories are genuinely outdated. Those limiting beliefs, the inner critic, the wounds that your past inner child experienced, those are in the past. Things are different now. That's the power of reparenting is when you give yourself permission to do the thing anyway. Do it even if you look silly, do it even if it makes a mess right.

Speaker 1:

One of the things that I really want to highlight here that has again been a big thing in my own life is, for so many of us, inner child healing comes down to the feeling that we have to be perfect, that if we're not walking the line in the exact right way, something bad is going to happen.

Speaker 1:

Right, but at the end of the day, you do not want a life that requires you to be perfect. If somebody came over to you and said you can have the life of your dreams, you can be successful, you can have money, you can have whatever you want, but you're going to have to constantly be on, always walking in line, making sure that you're doing everything right, juggling all of the balls, always being in control, would you want it? No, you want the life that embraces your imperfections. You want the life that is joyful and aligned and flowing and gets to be messy and gets to be creative and gets to be fun. But our life isn't going to embrace those things until we embrace them in ourselves, right? So a big part of inner child healing is allowing yourself to embrace the mess, embrace the silly, embrace the imperfections, because that's what's going to let your life grow around those and support those.

Speaker 2:

It's so huge, it's so huge, I can't stress it enough. I definitely grew up in a house where the house needed to be perfectly clean all of the time, right, and so going and baking and throwing flour around with my daughter was like huge. It was a huge breakthrough moment that there wasn't going to be an adult that was going to come out and yell at me for making a huge mess, right? So, recognizing those aspects of you that really want to come out, that want to come play, that want to come dance, and taking those like, look, I'm safe, look, I'm safe, look, I'm safe Every step of the way is going to be transformative, all right. So now I would, we would really love to guide you into an experience where you can reconnect with your inner child. So we're going to do this, and so I'm just going to invite you to take a nice deep breath and maybe you want to place your hands over your heart and inviting you to close down your eyes. Notice that inhale and exhale. Notice that inhale and exhale, allowing your legs to becoming heavy and relaxed, letting your belly soften, letting your shoulders drop, letting your jaw relax, letting the tongue fall away from the roof of your mouth, letting your facial muscles relax, letting even your hair relax, knowing that this is a place, a space, a time that you're worthy to go into this meditative experience to meet part of who you are, to meet part of who you are. So, in this relaxed body, I'm going to invite you to imagine, imagine a beautiful summertime park where there is merry-go-rounds and slides and climbing fixtures and maybe even a water feature. And just noticing as you step into this childhood wonderland park, just noticing what you notice when it comes to the colors here, noticing what sounds you hear If you are alone or if there is laughter and other groups of children playing, noticing if there is a breeze, noticing if there is a table of treats, noticing if there's something you can taste, noticing if there's something you can smell. And this can be your idea of your ideal childhood park where you can play, you can run, you can laugh, in full freedom and full safety.

Speaker 2:

And so here you are, observing, you can notice what's happening around you, knowing that your inner child, at just the right age for you to meet, is here. And so you begin to explore the different areas to meet little you. Maybe they're swinging on the swing, maybe they're in the sandbox, maybe it's the merry-go-round, and your job as adult you is to be curious, to be delighted in the experience of meeting your little you. And so you move around each of the different areas seeking out your little you, all the while taking in your senses, making the emotions, making the vibrancy of this place as alive as possible. And when you find your inner child, I'm going to invite you to parallel park, meaning you're going to do what they're doing. So if they're swinging, you go swing. If they're sliding down the slide, you go catch them at the bottom.

Speaker 2:

If they're on the merry-go-round, you jump right on and notice their emotion. Are they in a place of excitement? Are they in a place of ecstatic joy? How are their emotions?

Speaker 2:

Noticing, too, that they might be sad or crestfallen or hurt in some way, and knowing that that is all right, that you can hold space for them as well. And so, as your adult self, you get to meet and be with, in the fullest capacity, your inner child. So, taking a moment now to being fully and completely with them and experiencing a few moments with them to support them, to love them, to nurture them, to enjoy an experience with them, with a mind of curiosity, with a mind of awe, noticing what you can notice, letting your inner child know that you're so excited to be with them in this moment, that you're proud of them for who they are, that you accept them, that you love them as they are and that any time that they desire for you to return to this happy place, you can come, you can play, you can witness, you can support, you can help. And so you might want to ask if your inner child wants you, they want your attention. What's the thing that they're going to do to grab your attention?

Speaker 2:

Notice, notice. If it's a physical sensation, if it's a whisper in your ear, if it's something that you're going to see in your life, take that in. And so, with this wisdom, with this knowledge of how they're going to reach out to you when they need you, you say goodbye for now, allowing them to continue to play, continuing to experience, knowing that you can return whenever you so desire. And then you come back to your starting place of where you entered the park, taking a nice deep breath, filling your lungs full of air, coming all the way back to your physical body, this physical present moment, wiggling those fingers and toes and, when you're ready, fluttering open your eyes and coming all the way back to this call.

Speaker 1:

Feel free to take a minute or two to journal, to integrate that energy, to feel, into what that top takeaway is from that, whether it was something your inner child did, the way that you're feeling, even just the idea that you can go and meet your inner child in a joyful way. Just take a few minutes here to sit with that, and we would love to hear as well in the chat If you're wanting to share. We'd love to hear how you're feeling now, what your takeaway was, if that was a good experience. Love to hear it in the chat. As we give you just a minute or two to journal, write those things down and share with us. And I do have our names put together for our giveaway. So I've got all of our little sticky notes here for our very incredible giveaway that I'm very excited about and we'll get to that in just a few minutes here. I actually just had one jump out at me. That's funny. I set that one to the side. So I do just want to take a minute to just check in with you guys now that you've had a little taste of what inner child healing can look like, the fact that it can be joyful and it can be creative and it could be freeing, and it can be meeting your inner child on the playground and sharing a beautiful moment with them. I would love to know how you're feeling now, if something has shifted for you, or if you had an aha moment where you, you know you've changed the way you think about inner child healing, or you remembered something magical, or you have a new tool or technique that you're going to take away with you. I would love to know over in the chat. Like I said, that really makes things so magical is when we can share and seal in that energy together.

Speaker 1:

And you know, here's the thing. Here's the question that we kind of want to ask you as we come to a close tonight is you know, what if you woke up in the morning knowing that you could fully heal your inner child, knowing that you could move beyond your past, integrate it and allow it to something greater than yourself? Right? What if you had a way to release those limiting beliefs, heal your subconscious frameworks, connect with the highest version of who you are, alchemize those traumas and those pains into again sources of power? Right, it's absolutely possible, it's completely achievable and we've seen students do it again and again. This is why we teach what we teach in Soul Rising, and what we shared with you today in this webinar is, believe it or not, just a little teeny tiny taste of what we teach in Soul Rising. This would have been probably half of one video in the first week of Sacral Chakra and, for reference, there are 16 weeks of content in the course. So this is truly part of an amazing integrative approach to healing, approach to connecting with yourself, approach to shamanism right, we teach over 35 incredible tools and so many more concepts and ideas and offering you just a buffet of options to connect with yourself. Right. And it's part of the reason that wealth of knowledge and experiences and ideas and opportunities is part of the reason why so many of our students experience transformation.

Speaker 1:

One of our students shared that she started Soul Rising with the intention of finding her authentic self, right, like so many of us, and not really knowing what that meant. But after completing Soul Rising, she can say that not only did she find herself, she found her authentic self, but she loves who she is and she likes who she is. And can you imagine being able to wake up in the morning and say with complete conviction I love who I am. I love myself right. We had another student share that she can't believe that she's the same person as she was who started Soul Rising. It's been a gift that's given her invaluable tools to heal her past and her future. And I'm reading these testimonials verbatim how they were written, how they were sent in from our incredible students, right. Another one said that she finally learned to trust and embody, leaning into the process of her abilities, her spiritual gifts, the divine that it's been such a game changer for her, because she struggled with self-trust for so long right Again, like so many of us, and she's finally to the point where she's trusting herself and her ability to be still and accept whatever shows up and the way that it shows up, tuning into her gifts right.

Speaker 1:

So, knowing that you are fully capable of accessing these new levels of healing or transformation or empowerment, or joy or creativity or whatever it is that your soul is yearning for, whatever you identified in today's webinar as that thing that feels like your inner child is calling out for it right, in fact, you are being called to step into it, the fact that you're on this webinar, the fact that you're doing this work, the fact that you are wanting to care for your inner child, wanting to go deeper, is a calling. It's a calling from your soul telling you there is more here, there's something here for you tonight, right? So I do want to take a few minutes to tell you more about Soul Rising and then I promise that we will get to our giveaway for those of you who are on live. So promise that we will get to our giveaway for those of you who are on live. So Soul Rising is a four month journey into subconscious reprogramming, inner child healing, nervous system healing, energetic harmony, connecting with your intuition, walking the shamanic path, learning about Reiki and the actual historical foundation of Reiki, not the way that we're often taught it today. Right, we mix in spiritual coaching and guided journeys and meditations like the one you just experienced and, above all, really deep, tight-knit community support, the ability to sit down in circles like this and interact and engage and share your ideas and share your wins and have your hand held, or hold someone else's hand, through the process of alchemizing and healing your wounds. Right?

Speaker 1:

So, over the course of four months, we teach you through four modules, one for each of the lower four chakras, because that's where our deepest wounds, our deepest limiting beliefs and our deepest potential for healing is stored. We have a module for each chakra and each one has a different focus, a different tool that we're teaching you. We're going to teach you how to shamanic journey to the upper, middle and lower realms. We're going to teach you how to do the inner child healing, how to connect with your intuition, how to manifest in a more aligned way, how to cut cords, how to show up in your authenticity, how to understand your values and who you are as a person, what your passion and purpose is.

Speaker 1:

We talk about rewiring the subconscious, regulating your nervous system, awakening your spiritual gifts, healing your past traumas, connecting with your spirit teams, using energetic healing techniques like chakra spinning and chakra analysis to understand what's happening in your systems right, and it's not about this is the way that healing needs to happen. It's not about this is how I healed or this is how Christine healed. It's about the three of us Christine, chantel and I have come together and pooled all of the resources, all of the wisdom, all of the ideas that have helped us along the way. You guys heard me tonight talk about how I've been deep in my own inner child healing. You better believe that the tools and techniques I was using to do that inner child healing we teach in Soul Rising, because this is what has helped us. And we've conglomerated, we've poolglomerated, we've pulled all of those together to offer you a buffet of options so that you can reconnect and reclaim your own wisdom. So, just like tonight's experiences was about going into yourself, finding that healing in yourself, reconnecting with yourself, soul Rising is designed to remind you of who you already are at your core that powerful, wise, healed, vibrant, joyful, connected being who already has that unique medicine within you to live the life that you love right.

Speaker 1:

And our students have done absolutely incredible things that I wouldn't even begin to take credit for because, again, this is about coming into your own power, stepping into your own truth. And so our students have healed themselves from PTSD, depression, anxiety and chronic illness. They've reclaimed their relationship with their inner child and released years of trauma. They've manifested abundance to pay off all of their debts. We had one student manifest enough money to cover tens of thousands of dollars in debt out of the blue, launched successful businesses, reconnected with passions they've had buried for years. One of our students did professional horseback riding when she was younger. Hadn't done it for like 30 years, got back into it because of the inner child healing that she did with Soul Rising, she's now a competitor. She has the most incredible photos that I love. I love seeing, because she is so rooted in her passion and purpose. Because of this kind of work, they've connected to their spirit guides, their power animals, their unique gifts, spirit nature, in ways that they never thought possible, right? So there are so many of these incredible stories on our website.

Speaker 1:

I don't want you to just hear it from me, so be sure to go over to the link and check it out. But my invitation to you right now is, just like we've envisioned a healed version of our inner child, right? I want you to imagine a healed version of you now. Imagine yourself four months from now feeling grounded, feeling confident, feeling spiritually connected, feeling free, knowing that you are safe, knowing that you are loved, knowing that all of your needs are met and your desires are allowed, that you not only are they allowed, but they're achievable, they're possible, they're waiting for you to find them right. And all of that is what makes Soul Rising possible, not in, again, a salesy way, but in a true way, because this course is built from the tools and the techniques that Christine and Chantel and I have all actually used and actually implemented. We essentially did all the work for you of going through all of the thousands of modalities that are available to you and finding the ones that actually work, finding the ones that actually make a difference, and then we've spent the past five to 10 years honing in the course and improving it and taking out the things that didn't help and putting in things that had more value and really honing it in so that this is truly the best course that we could possibly offer you. Right, and we teach this because we've been where you are, we found what worked and we're inspired to share it with you guys. Right, you guys are why we do what we do.

Speaker 1:

So here's the thing we have a giveaway coming up for a fantastic discount on soul rising, but if you're interested in learning more, we also want to give you access to our reclaiming the sacred self masterclass as a bonus gift. This was a five week masterclass that Christine and I just taught on reclaiming the sacred and connecting with your sexuality and sensuality and connecting with your creativity and regulating your nervous system through polyvagal theory and all kinds of incredible things, right, and it's absolutely okay if you want to talk more. You want to make sure Classes do start on Monday, but we're going to keep enrollment open for a while. But if you book a free discovery call with us, if you have questions and you book a call with us, we will honor that free masterclass, no matter when your call is, even if it's after the weekend, right. But if you know that you're ready to enroll, because you have all the reasons to you get the free masterclass, your intuition is already saying yes, hopefully you'll get picked for the giveaway, the raffle that we have here, right? Those are all incredible reasons to enroll. So, like I said, classes start on Monday. We already have some incredible individuals who are ready to step into this work with us, but we do have some typical questions that we get, so I want to answer those before we jump into our giveaway.

Speaker 1:

So Soul Rising is, like I said, four months long, but we take a week off for Thanksgiving and two weeks off for Christmas so that you don't have to sacrifice time with your family to be in the course. When you enroll, you get immediate access to pre-recorded videos to watch throughout the week. You get a workbook, you get guided meditations, you get journal prompts, and the reason that we did it this way is because everyone has a different learning style. Some people learn by watching, some people learn by reading, some people learn by writing, and we have the opportunity to do them all so that this course can be supportive to you. However, you learn best right, and so the way it's set up is you watch the weekly content, you read the workbook on your own time and then you join us for weekly support calls, two hour long calls once a week. We have more than one call every week, but you're only required to come to one, but you're invited to them all, and on those calls we're really implementing what you've learned. We're using the techniques that we've talked about, we are answering your questions, we're alchemizing and integrating all of it. So it's not just go learn this thing and good luck. It's go learn this thing, bring it back and let's embody it, let's use it, let's actually do the work together.

Speaker 1:

Typically, we say that this course takes about three to four hours the time commitment every week. That's including the live call. So about two hours on a live call every week, two hours of watching videos, doing the journal prompts, filling out forms to reflect on what you've learned every week. Right, so totally manageable, but also still a commitment because we do deep work in this course. That's how we're actually going to change right and the live schedule. We do have a rough outline right now, but the reason that I say rough is because we base it on your availability, so we make sure that, no matter what your crazy schedule is, we find a way to get you on a live call. And, of course, you also get access to a private group chat, a personal mentor who is devoted to making sure that you are receiving the support you need throughout the entire course, and a shamanic Reiki certificate at the end. So those are all of the goodies.

Speaker 1:

I know that at this point, you guys have heard about Soul Rising. You've seen how passionate we are. You've heard all of the incredible results that our students have had and hopefully, you feel really inspired and got a taste of what that was like in tonight's webinar, and I would love to jump into our giveaway tonight, knowing that the link to learn more, to enroll, to book a call is in the chat. Thank you all so much for joining us for this webinar. As you can tell.

Speaker 1:

This is something that Christine and I really love, and we really try to infuse value and takeaways and tools that you can use and integrate into your own life in everything that we do, but especially these webinars. So I hope that this is something that you can come back to, to go over that meditation, to listen to the teachings in the slideshow again and get more goodness from it. Know that the recording will get sent out tomorrow, but we would also love to hear your top takeaways in the Facebook group. So if you're not part of our Moon Rising Shamanic Mystics Facebook group, know that that is a completely free community of people who are doing this work and supporting each other, and we would love to hear what your top takeaway from tonight or, as it continues to integrate over the next few weeks, few days, how that goes for you. But thank you guys. So so much for being on the call for sharing in the energy. It has been such a joy and a privilege to get to share space with you this evening.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. I couldn't have said it better myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for taking the time to be here to really reflect. Go journal, go drink some water, go take care of yourself, Ask yourself what is one thing that my inner child wants tonight, and go do it. And let's go do it.

Speaker 1:

Go actually do the thing. This has been my biggest thing lately. Go do the thing.

Speaker 2:

Don't say you're going to do the thing and then not do the thing, do the thing, do the thing, if that's, take a bath and have all your measuring cups, like you did when you were a kid. Like, go, do the thing. So lots of love, take care everyone and we hope to see you next week in Soul Rising. Love you all.
