As humans, it is so easy to fall into the victim mindset. This concept, like many other spiritual buzzwords, can create a lot of strong emotions. There is no denying that being a human can be a very difficult experience, and there is value in honoring everything that comes with it, the ups and the downs.
But when we begin to be stuck in the story of what has happened to us and how it has impacted our lives in a negative way, the victim mindset begins to weigh us down.
During this conversation, we will be exploring what the victim mentality is, how it can manifest, why it can be harmful, and what we can do to create a more beneficial perspective.
